Prudential do Brasil is a subsidiary of Prudential Financial Inc., one of the largest financial services companies in the United States, with over 135 years of history. In Brazil, Prudential do Brasil has operated since 1976 in the individual life insurance sector, with 27 agencies and two sales offices located in Brasília, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Rio Grande do Sul, and Paraná.

Internally, the company faced challenges due to dozens of legacy systems, each with its own unique login screens and passwords. This created confusion for users and made access management difficult. Another issue was that audit data was scattered across various systems.

Stefanini Scala provided consulting services and designed a solution based on IBM IAM – Identity and Access Management software, focusing on access and identity management, as well as IBM WebSphere, LDAP directories, and IBM Db2.

Stefanini Scala also provided post-project support and assisted operations to ensure the overall success of the implementation. Ultimately, users were pleased with the convenience of having a single password for accessing multiple applications.

Furthermore, the audit team was satisfied with the 40% reduction in data preparation time, as all data is now centralized.
