Unimed-BH boasts a network of over 5,500 affiliated physicians, a comprehensive infrastructure of in-house services, and 381 accredited providers including hospitals, clinics, laboratories, radiology centers, and specialty clinics. Furthermore, Unimed-BH offers urgent and emergency care coverage throughout Brazil through reciprocal agreements within the Unimed System.
Behind the scenes, however, the IT team faced significant challenges managing a vast number of user identities and maintaining functional profiles. They had to handle exceptions in workflows and manage the numerous (though often minor) adjustments required to keep those workflows running smoothly.
Furthermore, they needed to implement a solution that would allow them to monitor changes in existing security policies and easily make adjustments to reflect organizational changes.
Stefanini Scala provided consulting, implementation, maintenance, and support services. The resulting operational efficiency was evident in the speed with which process changes could be made within the solution to address evolving business needs. The IT department also experienced an improved image and positive user feedback.
